Highway dept to install 3 railway barriers

Work is in full swing to upgrade the railway crossings of around Rs12 million

MULTAN:

Punjab Highway Department has started work to install barriers at three railway crossings between Chani Goth, Lodhran and Dunyapur stations.
According to the department, work is in full swing to upgrade the railway crossings at a cost of around Rs12 million.
The amount has been released by Punjab Highway Department to install barrier No 116 at Chani Goth, and No 170 and No 172 between Lodhran and Dunyapur.
Divisional Superintendent Shoaib Adil has directed Engineer Nasir Hanif to complete the work as soon as possible and said the initiative would help reduce accidents in the future.
