Demi Lovato announces engagement to Max Ehrich

The diva showed off her giant diamond ring on Instagram

Demi Lovato has found permanent happiness under quarantine, announcing her engagement to soap actor Max Ehrich on her Instagram. 

The Sober singer took to Instagram earlier today to share the good news, posting pictures with her beau on a beach with a huge rock on her finger. The two were first reported to be dating in March and seems like the romance took flight quickly as they were forced to quarantine together thanks to the ongoing pandemic. 

Lovato shared the news with an ecstatic caption to go with her photos, recalling a childhood memory. "When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' - something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me, it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner," she wrote.

She then went on to express her love for her fiance, saying that she knew he was the one from the moment they met. "It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too," she said. Lovato also lauded him for appreciating her for who she is and loving her 'unconditionally.'

"You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you," she penned, going on to thank a friend for "hiding behind rocks and capturing the entire thing."

Ehrich himself also shared the news on his Instagram, with a special ode to his lady love in the caption. "You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life. Words cannot express how infinitely in love with you I am forever and always and then some. I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife. Here’s to forever baby," he wrote.
