KARACHI:

Sindh Transport Minister Awais Qadir Shah demanded of the Centre on Wednesday to restore three train services, namely Khushal Khan Khattak Express, Bolan Mail and Mohenjodaro Express, calling on Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of the suspension of the said trains’ operations in Larkana.

Besides, the provincial minister lamented the “worsening condition” of the trains over the past two years, holding Federal Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed responsible. “This has deprived the public of [a means] of low-cost transport,” Shah pointed out, claiming that Sindh was being exploited in the railway sector. He further accused the PM of “assigning Rasheed the task to lead Pakistan Railways to bankruptcy in order to benefit the transport mafia in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
