22 more fall prey to coronavirus in Sindh

551 new Covid-19 cases emerge

Sindh reported 22 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday, in addition to 551 new Covid-19 cases and 1,363 fresh recoveries. In a statement issued on the day, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah observed that following this development, the province’s Covid-19 death toll had risen to 2,041, the virus tally had climbed to 114, 104 and the total number of recovered patients added to 94,297.

Meanwhile, he said, 17,766 patients were under treatment for Covid-19 in the province, with 17,011 in home isolation, 691 in hospitals and 64 quarantined in isolation centres. Among them, 520 are critically ill and 74 on ventilators, he added.
