K-P govt orders announcement of matric, intermediate results

Direct education dept to avoid further delays

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has directed the provincial education department to swiftly prepare and announce results for matriculation and intermediate exams. In this regard, the government issued a circular on Monday. It cited the meeting of the inter-provincial education minister conference in which it had been directed to promote students based on past results. The government directed to implement the decisions taken in the meeting. And said that the students would be promoted based on their last year’s results with three additional grace marks. Students who have failed in a subject will also be promoted to next grade, however, they will have an option of appearing in the special examination to improve their grades should the student wished to. pupils who have been suspended their papers for improvement purposes will also be liable to appear in the special exams. The government directed the education department to swiftly prepare the results to avoid further delay in the process.
