Tamgha e Imtiaz winner, Mehwish Hayat, will not settle for anything less than punishing rapists.
The Punjab Nahi Jaungi star took to Twitter late on July 17 to laud authorities for their swift capture of a teacher in Sindh who is accused of sodomy. "Khairpur Police takes immediate action on an incident of sodomy against two students in Thari Mirwah," Sindh Police had tweeted, with a picture of the accused. "Registered FIR and arrested the main culprit Sarang Shar within 24hrs. IGP appreciates the efforts and announces a reward of Rs. 200k for the team."

Mehwish shared Sindh Police's tweet, commending them on this feat. "Well done to the Sindh Police for taking swift action and capturing this Monster," she expressed. "Now let's make sure that we make an example of him - these sorts of heinous crimes have no place in any civilised society."
