Balochistan CM keen to foster accountability

Chief Minister of Balochistan Jam Kamal has said that development departments have been protected from all kinds of pressure in all matters including appointments, transfers and tendering process. “However, if the departments do not perform well in development projects, they will be held accountable,” he said. “There will be no compromise on the quality of development projects and action will be taken against the officers and personnel who do not work properly. The contractors will also be blacklisted.” While presiding over a review meeting on Nawa-Killi bypass and Airport road construction, the provincial chief executive said, “The quality of projects could not be improved without rectifying their weaknesses and shortcomings which he had identified during the inspection of these projects.”
