A six-year-old from Wyoming is being hailed by a number of celebs and on-screen superheroes for being a real-life superhero, reported Too Fab.

Bridger Walker jumped in to save his little sister when a German Shepherd mix charged towards her. According to his family, the little boy was shielding her, and during that, the dog jumped and mauled Bridger's cheek. He had to get surgery and more than 90 stitches.

His story was shared on Instagram by his aunt, Nicole Walker, and has since then gone viral with thousands of people around the world hailing the kid as a hero. Nicole tagged the Avenger’s cast to tell them “about this latest addition to their ranks."

According to the Walker family, celebs including Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman, Zachary Levi, and the Russo brothers have reached out to them. Even Anne Hathaway shared his story!

Chris Evans, Captain America himself, left a special message for Bridger, who was seen watching his video message in a clip shared by his aunt on Instagram. “I'm sure you've heard a lot of this over the last couple days, but let me be the next to tell you -- pal, you're a hero. What you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother,” said Evans.

He even had a special gift for Bridger! “I'm gonna send you an authentic Captain America shield because, pal, you deserve it,” he said.

Mark Ruffalo -- aka The Incredible Hulk – also had a message for him. "Dear Bridger, I just read about what happened to you and I wanted to reach out to say this ... People who put the well beings of others in front of themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I know,” he wrote.

“I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart," he continued. "Real courage isn't dominating people or fighting against people or walking around like a tough guy. Real courage is knowing what is right to do and doing it even when it might end up hurting you somehow. You are more of man than many, many I have seen or known. With admiration... Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk/Professor),” he signed off.

Later on Wednesday, Nicole revealed that two other stars had reached out, sharing a photo of Bridger in a Spider-Man costume. She didn't name them, but according to speculation, it might’ve been Tom Holland. "We just got off a call with a friendly neighbourhood idol. (Pic is of Bridger’s reaction right after the call.)," she captioned the photo, likely referring to Holland's Spider-Man. "Bridger is over the moon!"

Octavia Spencer also commented on one of Nikki's posts, writing, "I'm not an avenger but I know and appreciate them as I appreciate your little hero. Angel hugs for you." Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan also chimed in, writing, “So brave! Best big brother and true hero. Get better soon.” Actor Justin Baldoni also commented on a post, saying, “You can measure height but you can't measure heart.”
