A man was shot and injured by unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle near the electronics market in Saddar on Wednesday.
The injured was identified as Jamshed Alam, 50.
According to Preedy SHO, Alam was a real estate agent and owned an agency in North Karachi. He added that on his way back from the accountability court, Alam stopped by the electronics market to purchase something and was shot by two armed men as he was getting back in his car. The SHO said that Alam had been shot five times.
He stated that the police had found three empty bullet shells from the crime scene and were trying to acquire footage from the CCTV cameras installed nearby.
The police suspect that the incident was an outcome of personal enmity.
