Popular actor Humayun Saeed recently shared a picture of a chips packet named after his TV serial Meray Paas Tum Ho on Twitter and just laughed.
Several of such merchandise had landed in the local markets during the time the serial was on air. And since Saeed’s character had become the public favourite, the packet also showed a picture of him and Ayeza Khan printed on it.

However, it was all fun and games until Shaan Shahid responded to his tweet in an attempt to modestly school the celebrity for apparently laughing at the public’s appreciation.
The Waar actor wrote, “That’s the love of the people in their own way. Always accept it brother.”
But Saeed explained how he did not mean to be rude or sound derogatory.
That’s the love of the people in their own way always accept it brother

He said, “Yeh mazaq urranay wali hansi nahi thee bhai khushi wali hansi thee (This was not mockery, brother; I was laughing to express my happiness only).”
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani star then elaborated, “I am who I am because of the love of our people, there's no way I can ever take that for granted, just like I can never take you for granted."
Seeming rather disappointed, he then added, "You should know better brother,"
To this Shahid simply responded with emojis, relaying his understanding of the actor’s intentions.

But Twitterati felt Shahid had become too 'negative' lately, possibly owing to his earlier comments against the airing of Diriliş: Ertuğrul on PTV and now this probable misunderstanding.
Don't worry! He always turned the things negative this is his actual art. So it doesn't matter you said it that way or not but he made it that way...

Others, however, felt such expressions of love were actually marketing tactics and copyright infringement, so they should not be glorified.
This isnt Love of people. They are using the picture of two celebrties illegally just to sell their product. Copyright infringement.
