Actor and social activist Nadia Jamil has been going through perhaps one of the most difficult ordeal of her life during the last few months, cancer. Since being diagnosed, Jamil has been providing timely updates on her health to her fans and followers. Over the weekend she ended up sharing some good news talking about how she's "out of the dangerzone".
"Lying in hospital now for over two weeks & I'm healing. Out of the danger zone," she said. Within the same tweet, Jamil brought attention to the plight of children being abused across the world, be it in domestic situations or in war torn countries. "My mind goes to the children of the world who need adults to step up. Crimes against children, whether domestic, due 2 war or any other reason need to be looked into & fought against harder than ever!" she said.

In a subsequent tweet Jamil discussed how "rehabilitation" of child's mind is crucial following trauma of any kind. "The rehabilitation of a child's mind after any kind of trauma,is essential. Its important to equip children with strategies,so they can recognise patterns, triggers, develop mental safety plans & stand a better chance 2b productive, functional, happy adults. We can do this if we will !" she said.
