Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab said on Monday that Sindh was performing 12,004 coronavirus tests per million people, which was the highest testing rate in Pakistan. He added that Punjab was testing 5,427 samples per million, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 4,952 and Balochistan was carrying out 4,348 tests per million. “The Sindh government is working hard to prevent coronavirus, while other provinces have less testing capacity, due to which cases were underreported,” he claimed, calling for concerted efforts to prevent the spread of the virus.
