Projects of an interchange on the Hazara motorway for Abbottabad, a sewerage system, shifting of the general bus stand from the city and reconstruction of the Karakoram Highway (KKH) will be completed soon.
This was disclosed by the outgoing Hazara Division Commissioner Syed Zaheerul Islam on Sunday while addressing a farewell event at the Abbottabad Press Club (APC).
Islam said that the people of Abbottabad are well educated and cultured, while the media has always played a positive role for peace in the city. The commissioner stated that according to the vision of the provincial government, all administrative officers have worked for the development of the district.
"During my tenure, I always utilised resources for the development of the area and betterment of the people," the commissioner said.
