Legal action was initiated against the illegal occupants

OKARA:

The anti-corruption authorities retrieved government land worth Rs500 million from illegal occupants during an operation in Okara.

Punjab Anti-Corruption Director General Gohar Nafees issued instructions to Sahiwal director and Okara deputy director to retrieve government land that was occupied illegally.

The circle officer and his team conducted an operation in Depalpur tehsil and retrieved 2,214 kanals of land worth Rs450 million. Another 112 kanals of land worth Rs30 million in Chak No 33D and 103 kanals worth Rs20 million in Mauza Musta Proka were also retrieved and ploughed.

Legal action was initiated against the illegal occupants.
