Students portray need for balanced population growth

The competition was organised by Pakistan National Council of the Arts

ISLAMABAD:

Achieving a balance between family size and family resources is imperative to ensure the fundamental rights of all family members, said a winner at the national poster competition.

The theme of the poster competition was ‘Striking a balance for sustainable population growth.’ The competition was organised by Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on the World Population Day on July 11 in Islamabad in collaboration with the Population Centre Pakistan with the support of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Maria Khan, a student of architecture from National College of Arts, Lahore won the first prize. Agha Muhammad Abdullah from Lahore won the second prize.

Third prize was won by Faiqa Asghar from National College of Arts, Lahore.
