Eid cleanliness plan sought

The deputy commissioner asked them to improve the standard of municipal services in the city

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Omar Sher Chattah has directed the administrations of tehsils and local bodies to prepare an action plan for the immediate disposal of sacrificial animals’ waste and ensuring cleanliness on Eidul Azha. He also directed the municipal committees and tehsil councils to set up counters to address the complaints of the citizens. Addressing a meeting of the officers of the tehsil councils, municipal committees and local governments, the deputy commissioner asked them to improve the standard of municipal services in the city. He also asked the chief officers of tehsil councils, municipal committees and other local government to arrange loaders, tractor trolleys and polythene bags for picking and disposing of the wastes of sacrificial animals.
