Baitul Mal office in S Waziristan

Centres would offer vocational training

PESHAWAR:

The office of the Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) has been set up in Wana, South Waziristan tribal district.

This was disclosed by the Pakistan Baitul Mal Managing Director Aon Abbasi while talking to media at the opening ceremony of the centre.

Abbasi said the PBM office has been established for the first time in South Waziristan district. He said the government has also planned to set up handicrafts centres in Wana and Makeen tehsils of the district.

These centres would offer embroidery training and computer courses to youngsters.

People from different walks of life including students, activists, tribal elders, government officials attended the opening ceremony.
