CM Mahmood says nation remembers health workers who died of coronavirus
PESHAWAR:
On the 100th day of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s fight against the Covid-19, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan paid homage to the services of frontline workers fighting against the pathogen.
CM Mahmood health, rescue workers, police personnel, district administrations and all others fighting on frontlines against the coronavirus pandemic have done a remarkable job. This reflects the resilience, perseverance and commitment of the nation to stand up to crises.
He said the sacrifices rendered by the frontline health workers who lost their lives will be remembered.
The chief minister was addressing a ceremony held to mark the 100th days of the nation’s resolve in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
He said the National Coordination Council and National Command and Operation Centre played a vital role in devising and implementing an effective strategy with consensus of all the federating units and stakeholders to effectively deal with the challenge
