A man, who had been wounded in a gun attack from his neighbours in the provincial capital last month, has succumbed to his wounds.
Nadeem Joseph had bought a house in the Sawati Phatak area of Peshawar and moved into his new home in May.
The 50-year-old in a statement to the police, had said that his neighbours were less than welcoming of his family and had even threatened him unless he left.
He added that for days the suspect and his children harassed his family. Then on June 4, they opened indiscriminate fire on Joseph, injuring him and his mother-in-law.
Joseph, who was critically injured, underwent several surgeries at the Lady Reading Hospital for nearly a month before finally succumbing to his wounds.
