QUETTA:

Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai while stressing the importance of education said the government is well aware of the problems and difficulties faced by the teachers of public sector universities across the province and is making serious efforts for their lasting solution.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of professors from University of Balochistan and University of Lasbela led by Member Provincial Assembly and former Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani at the Governor House in Quetta the other day.

He said a bright future of nations is directly related to education and educational institutions; hence, there is no room for nepotism in this field.

“From the appointment of teachers to the admission of students, the observance of merit has been our top priority,” Yasinzai said, adding that full attention and conscious efforts have promoted a healthy educational environment in the higher educational institutions of the province.

“In this regard, our first responsibility is to provide all the necessary facilities to the faculty and students of the varsities and solve their problems on urgent basis.”
