Pakistan's most eligible bachelor is finally taken

The coronavirus pandemic has seen a series of celebrities taking the opportunity to tie the knot. With social distancing becoming the norm, ceremonies are low-key affairs with only a few close relations in attendance. Additionally, unlike before, celebrity nuptials during this lockdown period surface all of a sudden.

The latest name in showbiz to get hitched is non-other than 90s heartthrob and singer Haroon Rashid. In an intimate ceremony with only the immediate family present, Haroon and Farwa had their Nikkah. The nikkah took place at the latter's family house in Bani Gala Islamabad. The ex-Awaz front rocked an Amir Adnan as he took on the next chapter of his life.

Much like most couples, the two had to change plans as the Covid-19 outbreak spread all across the country. "We were planning for an August wedding but with Coronavirus we decided to do a small simple nikkah ceremony now," Haroon told the Express Tribune.
