Jada Pinkett Smith and her son, Jaden Smith have taken to Twitter to slam YouTuber Shane Dawson after a resurfaced video of him sexualising Willow Smith back when she was 11-years-old went viral on Twitter.

The mother-son duo called Shane out after a video, in which he’s seen seemingly masturbating to a picture of Willow, spread like wildfire on social media right after Shane uploaded an apology video for other offensive things – he titled the video Taking Accountability.

"To Shane Dawson... I'm done with the excuses," Jada, 48, wrote on Saturday. Her son Jaden, 21, also tweeted, “SHANE DAWSON I AM DISGUSTED BY YOU. YOU SEXUALIZING AN 11 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAPPENS TO BE MY SISTER! IS THE FURTHEST THING FROM FUNNY AND NOT OKAY IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT."

The apology video in question was released by Shane on YouTube last week in which the 31-year-old apologized for his past actions, including past "inappropriate" comments about children, but had notably skipped talking about the video involving Willow, now 19.

“I swear on my life, I am not somebody who would ever talk about a child, like in seriousness, I would never talk about a child in any way that is inappropriate. That is disgusting, that is gross, and it is not something I would ever do. It is something I did for shock value or because I thought it was funny. It’s all gross and I promise that is not real, that is not me,” he said in his video.

Shane had also addressed other problematic behaviour of his, like using blackface and saying the N-word. “Blackface was something that I did a lot. Like, I did it a lot on my channel. There’s no excuse for it, there’s literally no excuse. I knew it was wrong, I knew I never wanted to do it again, but I didn’t do the work. I didn’t actually look into the history of it and why it’s so wrong, and why people were so upset,” he said.

Jaden also addressed Shane doing blackface, slamming him for it on his Twitter. “This man was also doing blackface on the regular. As the youth we need to support creators who support us and our morals. This is not okay,” he said.
