Covid-19 claims 17 more lives

More than 1,320 new cases reported

Another 17 patients died of coronavirus in Punjab during the last 24 hours. The number of confirmed coronavirus patients exceeded 74,200 after the registration of more than 1,320 new cases.

Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department officials said on Sunday that a total of 1,673 people died of coronavirus in the province since the pandemic broke out while the recoveries of patients crossed 25,160.

More than 920 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in Lahore, three in Kasur, 11 in Sheikhupura, nine in Jhelum, one in Attock, one in Chakwal, 65 in Gujranwala, 34 in Sialkot, 30 in Gujrat, eight in Hafizabad, five in Mandi Bahauddin, 66 in Multan and 17 in Muzaffargarh.
