Fake Products: Drive against piracy planned
Infringing the rights of original intellectual property producers, and are also deceiving consumers with fake products
ISLAMABAD:
An effective and relentless drive will be launched against piracy and counterfeiting who are not only infringing the rights of original intellectual property producers but are also deceiving consumers with fake products.
This was decided in a meeting of the Regional Enforcement Coordination Committee, presided over by Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO) Pakistan Director General Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta, at IPO regional office in Lahore on Friday. Representatives of enforcement agencies were asked to nominate focal persons in their organisations who would coordinate with IPO Pakistan.
