Blacktopping of KKH and widening would resolve traffic congestion on the road

Reconstruction and blacktopping of Karakoram Highway (KKH) from Salhad Abbottabad to Mansehra will cost of Rs400 million.

K-P Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, PTI MNA Ali Khan Jadoon and K-P Minister for Food Qalandar Khan Lodhi Saturday inaugurated the project.

Ghani said that his government never promised a Taj Mahal for the Abbottabad people, but they undertaken projects of public welfare.

He said usually people ask him that why did not PTI start a mega-project in Abbottabad, “I say that Rs3 billion Havelian bypass road, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology, Rs1 billion Murree Road dualisation, Rs1 billion beautification project of Abbottabad are also mega projects.”

Moreover upgradation of District Headquarters Hospital Abbottabad at a cost of Rs1 billion would also be inaugurated in a couple of weeks.

Blacktopping of KKH and widening would resolve traffic congestion on the road and would provide relief to the locals and tourists as well.
