She also called Johar the 'movie mafia'. The Queen star's comments started a debate on privilege in Bollywood.
Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise has restarted the much-needed discussion. Many Bollywood actors opened up about the dark side of the Indian film industry.
Many called out popular talk show hosted by Johar, Koffee With Karan as well. In a recent development, season 6 of the show has been shelved.
And veteran TV actor and former supermodel Iffat Omar had a thing or two to say about it.
"Pakistani industry artists sharing news of Koffee in Karan in hot water but darlings what about the nepotism in your own backyard?" the host shared. "Kabhi socha hay hamari industry me adakar kitne hayn? (Have you ever thought how many actors there are in our industry?)"
