266 shops sealed, 71 vehicles impounded

MIANWALI:
The district administration sealed 266 shops and impounded 71 vehicles while collectively imposing fines amounting to Rs492,000 on shops and vehicles over violation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the last week.


A statement issued on Tuesday revealed that on the directives of Deputy Commissioner, ADCG Syed Noor Alam along with assistant commissioners of Mianwali, Esa Khel and Piplan conducted raids at various markets of the district and closed 430 shops, sealed 266 shops, registered cases against 34 people and imposed cumulative fine amounting to Rs273,800 on 2,730 shopkeepers over violation of  Covid-19 SOPs.
