The maestro that Sabri was:

Sabri born to a well-known Qawwali family in Karachi in 1976, inherited the passion for Qawwali. He received his initial training of Qawwalis from his father Ghulam Farid Sabri and elder brother Azmat Sabri alias Ajo Bhai.

After completing his technical education and training, he demonstrated his skills in the field of Qawwali in a way that is rarely seen. He had performed in more than 17 countries including India, Nepal, USA, and London.

Sabri emerged in a different style after the death of his father Ghulam Fareed Sabri. He stepped into the field reciting the same words that had shot his father and his uncle to fame. He earned immense fame in the field of Qawwali in the times to come.

The veteran Qawwal succumbed to the serious injuries when the terrorists targeted and shot at him on June 22, 2016, at a distance from his home in Liaquatabad. The history of Qawwali would be incomplete without the mention of him.
