Sushant Singh Rajput's teenage fan reportedly dies of suicide

Previously, another one of his fans also reportedly took his own life and left a note

A 14-year-old girl allegedly dies of suicide in India, unable to bear the news of untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the police said.

According to the Times of India, the incident occurred in Jobra area of Cuttack on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Saumya Sriraj, a Class IX student of Saraswati Sishu Mandir. She allegedly took the extreme step by hanging herself in the absence of her family members.



According to the family, the girl was under severely upset following the suicide of actor Sushant Singh. However, the police would conduct further investigation into different angles of the incident, said Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Previously, another one of Sushant's fan who was studying in the 10th standard committed suicide after hearing about the actor's death. The boy was from Uttar Pradesh.

According to Pinkvilla, before taking this step, the boy left a suicide note which read, "If He Can Do It Why Can’t I".
