Qasre Zauq: Accused granted interim bail till Aug 8

LAHORE:

A division bench of the Lahore High Court allowed interim bail till August 8 to three accused in the Rs1.38 billion Qasre Zauq property grab case.

The bench directed the petitioners, Rana Muhammad Azam, Tikka Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Khan Tikka_ to deposit two sureties each of Rs1 million to get bail.

In December 2010, Sheikh Ayub and his son Mohsin, appeared before the Supreme Court.

Ayub contended that he was kidnapped by some men, whom he shared the property with, and forced to sign documents in their favour.
