All three services chiefs of Pakistan's armed forces, including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters in Islamabad.

"Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi and Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan visited HQs ISI," Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Babar Iftikhar said in a tweet on Tuesday.

Head of premier intelligence agency Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid received the CJCSC and head of armed forces at Directorate General ISI, it added.

A comprehensive briefing was given to military leadership on the regional security issues with special focus on situation of Line of Control (LoC) and Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).

General Nadeem and the services chiefs appreciated the tireless efforts of ISI for national security and expressed satisfaction over professional preparedness, the military's media wing said.

The rare visit of top military leadership to the country's spy agency came amid the surge in the Indian ceasefire violations along LoC following the abrogation of IOJ&K special status in August last year.
