RAWALPINDI: Police have booked a man and his friends for allegedly attempting to abduct his angry wife.

“I am living alone in a rented house in the Loni area with my three daughters ever since I separated from my husband around three years ago,” the complainant told the Airport police.

“I was walking to my beauty parlour in the neighbourhood when suddenly, a red car intercepted me and its occupants, including my husband Sajid Mahmood, got down and grabbed me,” she said, adding, “they tried to shove me into the car.”

When she raising a hue and cry, people nearby came to her rescue and freed her.

Later, Mahmood claimed that he was the woman’s husband. However, locals insisted that this was not the civil way to take home an estranged wife.
