Jemima Goldsmith tweeted a quote and Pakistanis can't stop their assumptions

Jemima Goldsmith has long held a spot in Pakistani's hearts that even local celebs struggle at - thanks to her being Imran Khan's first wife. So, naturally, we hang on to every word she says, and by the looks of it, even mundane ones!

The former journalist took to Twitter to upload a generic quote that do the round on social media every day. The picture reads, "Sometimes you meet someone and you know from the first moment that you want to spend your whole life without them."

Naturally, Pakistani netizens couldn't hold themselves back from assuming that the beauty must be missing her first husband and the father of her children, PM Imran Khan. Comments ranging from, "Do you miss him?" to "We still love you," bombarded her Twitter replies.

One user even wrote, "And true love never dies. It can be seen in eyes of a lover when pouring love says everything. Bless you Jemima. Our love for you is special," coupled with a photo of Imran and Jemima.

"Are you talking about PM Imran Khan?" questioned another, directly. Yet another person urged her to get back with the PM, who has since remarried. "Bhabhi you still want Imran Khan we can see. Please marry him," they tweeted.

However, many others also took to calling the others out for their baseless insinuations. "What's wrong with you people. For your kind information she doesn't tweet for IK so, don't remind her of him again and again," tweeted one user. "For God's sake move on. Please don’t torture yourself! IK is happily married now," replied another to a user.

Seeing the replies on the majority of Jemima's tweets makes one really wonder if Pakistani's will ever move on from Imran and her courtship.

The two were married from 1995 to 2004 and have two sons together, Suleiman and Qasim Khan. Imran Khan has since remarried twice, once to Reham Khan in 2014 and then to Bushra Bibi in 2018.
