"The character of Mir Farooq Zaman was a tricky one, it was also sensitive and negative in its own way but am glad you all liked and appreciated my work. A big thank you to all my fans and well-wishers. A special mention to my director, producer, co-stars and the team."

I must say such a brilliant script and What an END! Last scene sums up the whole story and there was a huge huge lesson in those lines for all of us..

My favourite pair of actors, a superb plot, but with a bittersweet open ending. I've never been a fan of toxic relations in the name of Happily Ever After and though Maani did deserve a chance ay happiness, I love how they've left it for is to imagine pic.twitter.com/5sUUxxqFdl
@FarhatIshtiaq the ending of #YeDilMera was true and sensible. Although we would have liked both of them to end up together, it is not easy to forget that you were used and part of a big plan. Aina will still love Amaan but she somewhere lost the faith she had on him.

Others absolutely hated it.

she said she did justice to all the characters but Amaan's ending was very unjust in my opinion. all we wanted was love, and all he was ever deprived of was love too. if only he was able to achieve that love. dissapointed but it's acceptable in some way #yedilmera

Not happy with the ending at all. Amaan doesn't deserve this after all the things he went through.#YeDilMera

However, one thing which was certain was Sajal's brilliant acting. Many took to Twitter to share how the actor has evolved.
SAJAL ALY u have raised the bar so high that i dont think anybody can come close to u. U are the finest actor of this generation. I will repeat it like i always do; no words can ever do justice with the acting u had to offer us today😭❤️#YehDilMera #YeDilMera pic.twitter.com/ipU328Qh2L
