The Pakistan Army soldiers retaliated effectively to the cross border fire, and shifted the injured to a nearby healthcare facility.

Indian ceasefire violations have witnessed a surge since August 5 last year when New Delhi abrogated the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).
In 2020, India has so far committed over 1,102 truce violations.
