ISLAMABAD: PML-Q President Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain Wednesday inaugurated a Utility Store branch at National Press Club on Wednesday. He said that more stores would be set up at various press clubs. He urged the Utility Stores management to evolve a plan for setting up department stores in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Quetta. He claimed that his party had solved the problems confronting journalists on a priority basis. He said that after joining the government, it would work for the promotion of media. Industries and Production Additional Secretary Aziz Ahmed Bilour said the sale of commodities at utility stores rose to Rs500 million on the first day of Ramazan, while on the second day it was Rs550 million. The sale of products on the third day of Ramazan is expected to go up to Rs600 million. National Press Club President Afzal Butt said the store would sell high quality items and advised journalists to immediately report any fake items being sold in the store.
