Rubina Ashraf on road to recovery, confirms daughter

Veteran TV actor Rubina Ashraf was tested positive last week for Covid-19. Reports of the 60-year-old actor being in a critical condition emerged over the weekend, as she battled the novel coronavirus.

Industry peers and wellwishers are praying for Rubina’s speedy recovery.

However, Rubina's daughter, Minna Tariq shared that the veteran actor is slowly recovering.

"I request everyone to please avoid spreading misinformation about my mother Rubina Ashraf, she is fine and recovering," Tariq wrote on her Instagram Story.

"Please pray for her speedy recovery. Regards Minna Tariq," she added.

The news of the veteran star testing positive was reported by Express News. She had previously isolated herself.

A source close to the family of the legend had previously confirmed to The Express Tribune that she is in a critical condition and is admitted to a private hospital.
