PHA to implement SOPs in parks

MULTAN: Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Director General (DG) Dr Malik Abid Mahmood said on Monday that standard operating procedures (SOPs) were being implemented for park visitors across the city to prevent further spread of the pandemic.

During a visit to Shah Shams Park accompanying PHA Chairman Ijaz Hussain Janjua and other officers, the PHA DG ordered placement of awareness banners for public in parks. He also directed the staff to ensure social distancing and use masks.

The director general instructed the staff to beautify the landscape and revealed that tenders for the park’s renovation would be issued soon. He asked the concerned staff to plant shady trees as well as local and foreign plants inside the park.
