Transfers: Commissioners’ powers broadened

LAHORE: A notification issued by the Services and General Administration department of on Wednesday said that the divisional commissioners will exercise full power regarding the postings and transfers of assistant commissioners; who have served a minimum of one year in their present assignments, within the divisions. Inter-divisional transfers, however, shall be ordered by the provincial government.
