Karachi wears deserted look on weekend
Little traffic was seen on main thoroughfares of the city on Sunday
KARACHI: Karachi presented a deserted look on Sunday as the Sindh government, intending to curb the spread of coronavirus, announced to tighten the lockdown across the province during the weekend.
Hence, over the weekend, the otherwise bustling provincial capital remained largely devoid of activity, with business activities suspended. This was despite no vigilance from authorities. Little traffic was seen on main thoroughfares of the city on Sunday morning, while the public transport also remained suspended for two days.
