Control room to update patients’ families daily in Punjab

Provincial minister highlighted that the control room will consolidate the data of the Covid-19 patients for analysis

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said during a visit to the Coronavirus Control Room at Mayo Hospital on Sunday that families of coronavirus patients must be provided information about them on a daily basis.

Mayo Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Asad Aslam Khan and Mayo Hospital Medical Superintendent Tahir Khalil were also present on the occasion and briefed the provincial minister about the working of the control room.

The provincial minister said the control room would keep the families of patients updated about their condition regularly. She further said that the doctors in the control room were providing data as well as providing general guidance to the people. “The CEO will be the overall in charge of the control room.”

The provincial minister highlighted that the control room will consolidate the data of the Covid-19 patients for analysis.
