Flood victims: S.Waziristan’s people compensated

WANA: On behalf of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Masood Kausar, Rs20,000 were distributed among flood-stricken families of South Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

A ceremony was arranged in which the agency’s Political Agent Muhammad Javed Khan, Chairperson of Fata Red Crescent Ghani Gul Mehsud, Assistant Political Officer Hamidullah Khan and a large number of flood affectees from Wana were present. In his brief talk with the affectees, Javed Khan said that the government was concerned about the suffering of the people and will not abandon them in their time of need. The affectees thanked Governor Kausar, saying that it was for the first time that flood victims were compensated in time.
