Court seeks witnesses
Another ATC ordered relevant authorities to produce the witnesses in a case pertaining to the provision of medical facilities to terrorists.
The accused Dr Asim Hussain, Anis Qaimkhani, Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar and MNA Qadir Patel did not appear before the court during the hearing.
Their counsels submitted pleas seeking exemption from appearing in court, with Patel's lawyer claiming that the MNA was in Islamabad to attend the National Assembly session.
