The video shows Sabri's childhood as he recites Allama Iqbal's Lab pe aati hai dua in public.
The heartwarming recitation and soothing voice reminds one of the great loss Pakistan's entertainment industry suffered on June 22, 2015, when the popular figure was shot dead in a target killing case in Karachi.
In her caption Khan wrote, "This video makes me sad but it also makes me smile. Amjad Sabri was taken away from us too soon.
Here he is, a little boy, reciting Allama Iqbal’s Lab pe aati hai dua. Mukamal dua hai yeh, (This is a complete prayer)."

Actor Seheryar Munawwar also responded to her post saying, "You know we used to recite this every morning as part of the morning assembly when I was in primary school. Never understood the meaning until much later. What a beautiful dua. Amen"

At the time of Sabri's death, renowned sitarist Ustad Nafees Ahmed had told The Express Tribune that Sabri was a “very normal person," but just like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, he was in a league of his own.
Fuzon member Imran Momina, popularly known as Emu had also claimed that the void Sabri left, was like that of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s, "it could never be filled."
