KARACHI: Two more Model Colony plane crash victims, including a former employee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and a passenger, were laid to rest in Karachi on Tuesday.

Among them, Qadir Masih, the retired employee of PIA, was identified on Saturday, after his body's DNA samples matched the samples taken from his son, Mushtaq Masih.

The body was kept at the Chhipa morgue in Saddar until identification.

According to Mushtaq, Qadir had been visiting Sialkot to attend his granddaughter's wedding and died in the crash while returning to Karachi.

Meanwhile, a deceased passenger, identified as Feroza, was also laid to rest. Her body, too, was kept at Chhipa morgue until identification.

Feroza's funeral was held near Parsi Gate in Mehmoodabad.

All aboard the ill-fated PK-8303 flight, except two passengers, died on May 22 as the plane plunged into the residential neighbourhood of Model Colony near Karachi airport. Following this, DNA matching was initiated to identify the victims, among whom at least 11 are yet to be identified.
