
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families during a press conference on Tuesday, Jinnah Garden Welfare Society president Zafarullah Khan said that they had informed the PIA inspection team about their losses, while a Sindh Building Control Authority delegation visited the area without inspecting the site.
According to the residents, the PIA CEO has offered to temporarily accommodate at the PIA hotel, with some families shifting there while others struggled with the absence of basic facilities.
They stated that 18 houses were partially or completely destroyed in the incident, while 15 cars and 17 motorcycles were also destroyed.
