Police on Saturday claimed to have recovered 7.715 kilogrammes of hashish five litres of liquor and weapons in separate raids.

Acting on the orders of District Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani, Attock police seized 7.715kg of hashish in a crackdown on drug dealers while five litres of liquor and arms were recovered during the operation against bootlegger.

According to police, three .30 bore pistols, a .32 bore revolver, and an AK47 Kalashnikov assault rifle with several bullets from the suspects.


Police city police allegedly seized five litres of homemade liquor from Mohammad Zuber and Mohammad Kamran and a .32 revolver with several bullets from Adeel Ahmed Waldas.

Hazro police arrested Ahmed Bakhsh allegedly for possessing 1.1kg of hashish, Ringo police claimed to have recovered 2kg hashish from Sulaiman Walid and Jund police seized 2.12kg hashish from alleged drug dealer Afraz Khan.

Separately Hassan Abdal police caught bMohsin Ali for allegedly carrying 1.25kg of hashish. Police also claimed to have recovered a Kalashnikov with ammunition from him.
