Vaccinating Livestock: Farmers educated on benefits

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Livestock Department on Tuesday arranged a programme in Mastar Zai to tell farmers about artificial insemination and precautionary measures against some of the major diseases affecting livestock. Dr Gul Nawab Khan, In-charge Mobile Veterinary Clinic Peshawar, advised the farmers to vaccinate animals against “Gul Ghoto”, a common disease during monsoon. In addition to Gul Ghoto, farmers were able to get their animals vaccinated against various diseases at the camp.
