Martyred police officials laid to rest

ISLAMABAD: ASI Mohsin Zafar and Head Constable Muhammad Sajjad of the Islamabad Police, who were killed in a gun attack in federal capital two days ago, were laid to rest on Thursday.

ASI Zafar was buried in the cemetery in Sector H-11 while Sajjad was buried in his native village in Haripur with full police honours.

Additional SP Farhat Abbas and SP Omar Khan laid floral wreaths at the graves of the officers on behalf of IG Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and Operations-DIG Waqaruddin Syed.
