LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab president Rana Sanaullah claimed on Thursday that the government had failed to cope with locust attacks on crops.

Addressing a ceremony held at Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) office in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer, he said the government had not been able to prepare any policy on locusts during the past six months.

He alleged that the government had no policy on how to run state affairs or deal with any untoward situation. He said the government had ruined every institution and the national economy had reached its lowest level.

The PML-N leader said it had become evident that the preset government was unable to steer the country out of crises being faced by the country.

He said no one could dare to harm Pakistan, every move of the country’s enemies and the designs of conspirators would be foiled.

He said the people were facing huge problems in meeting their necessary expenditures. The government’s bad policies had damaged the economy, he claimed.

Sana said the government had no comprehensive plan to fight the coronavirus pandemic. “People are losing their lives but the government is doing nothing except making tall claims.”

He said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had made all-out efforts to put the country on the right track.
